The Sunrise Center is the rape and sexual assault crisis center located in Koochiching County, Minnesota. Confidential services are provided at no charge for sexual assault victims, their families, and other concerned persons.

The Sunrise Center Against Sexual Abuse provides services to primary and secondary victims of sexual assault including direct services to victims, educational services to law enforcement agencies, schools, hospitals, media and the public. The ultimate purpose of the Koochiching county Sexual Assault Program is the prevention of sexual assault and the support of its victims.

Sexual assault is an act of violence, not sex. It is a crime and the victim is never to blame.
